I've been involved in many businesses and made money several times by seizing the right opportunities. For example, more than twenty years ago, when I first returned from Japan, I started a mobile phone business. But soon, communication stores sprang up like mushrooms after rain. With an oversupply in the market, there was hardly any profit left. So, I switched to dealing in magic underwear. Although the profit margin was good, the market was small, and I had to wind up the business quickly. Later, I worked in a trading company, but the meager salary led me to quit my job. Then I opened a Chinese and Japanese language cram school, but it was hard work and didn't bring in much money. After that, I learned about import and export business and started importing home decorations, such as grandfather clocks, oil paintings, sofas, dining tables and chairs, crystal lamps, and other decorative items.
 
The Financial Crisis and Being Entangled in Debts
 
Just when I was making money, my father had a stroke and was rushed to the emergency room of China Medical University. At the elevator entrance, I met my great benefactor, Executive Director Juanru. We exchanged business cards, and that's how our connection began. At that time, a friend who was a "body repair engineer" suggested that I use her method to treat my father. The cost of one treatment course was 600,000 yuan, with a deposit of 300,000 yuan, and I had to sign a contract stating that I couldn't raise any objections in case of any situation. In comparison, I chose to let my father use the SPA machine. It worked really well for him. At first, we needed a foreign caregiver to help him turn over in bed, but after three days of using the SPA, he could turn over on his own. The problem of his crooked mouth also improved. The number of pills he took decreased from eight to three, and his symptoms of dementia also got much better.
 
However, in November 2007, a big typhoon hit Taichung, causing severe floods. The furniture in my basement got soaked, which marked the beginning of my nightmare. Then, in 2008, the global financial crisis hit. People need to eat, but they can do without low-key and luxurious decorations. The sluggish economy made me worried every day. To maintain the operation of my store, I had to join a rotating savings and credit association, borrow money from banks, and even from loan sharks, all in the hope that the economy would improve. But instead of an economic recovery, I was left with a huge amount of debt.
 
After observing my situation carefully, Executive Director Juanru suggested to me, "You already own a SPA machine, so you have the right to operate. The company is holding a business promotion seminar. Why don't you go and see if you're interested in running the business? If you think it's 可行，we can cooperate. If not, I won't force you."
 
Having Dreams in Life and Building Them with Steadfastness
 
I attended the training camp on March 8, 2009. After coming back, I started using the SPA machine seriously, at least twice a day. I noticed changes in my body, face, and various aspects. In May, I began to operate the GRANDSUN business full-time. As Professor Lin said, "When you're at the lowest point in your life, it's time for a turnaround." So, I completely changed my habits and accepted the guidance of Executive Director Juanru. I will always be grateful for her silent dedication. I cooperated with the team's training and never missed any meeting. Traveling to Taipei and Kaohsiung to participate in courses was like spiritual nourishment for me. I humbly learned the successful methods from Executive Directors Zhang Rui, Xianzhen, and Juanru.
 
All my previous dreams were just wishful thinking, but now, in the GRANDSUN business, I can plan for the future with confidence. As long as I'm willing to put in the effort, achieving my dreams is no longer an impossible dream. In the past, when I went abroad, I had to live frugally, constantly looking for goods that would sell well and then shipping them back to Taiwan in containers for sale. When I think about the regional general manager's trip hosted by the GRANDSUN company, it was a luxurious experience that I had never had in all my previous trips abroad. The hotel room had two big beds and two washbasins. The feeling of being respected and superior was truly unforgettable.
 
I'm grateful to Chairman Chen Zhiguang and his wife for their thoughtfulness. In the GRANDSUN business, besides making money, I can also learn a lot of life philosophies that I couldn't learn in school. I once heard Mrs. Chen say earnestly, "Once you make money, you should learn how to manage your finances." The company pays attention to our mindset and takes good care of us in detail. It's definitely worth my full commitment to operate this business.
 
In traditional businesses, I had to prepare a large amount of capital for purchasing goods. After selling the goods and making a profit, I had to restock, always living in fear. But in the GRANDSUN business, I don't have to worry about the source of goods, and the financial recession doesn't affect my path to success.
